Astronomy

Course Overview:
In An Introduction to Astronomy, students will dive into outer space, learning about the stars and planets in our galaxy and universe! They will learn about astronomical characteristics ranging from Saturn’s seven rings to the gas giants in our solar system. In addition, constellations are a great topic of conversation when stargazing or just walking outside. After this course, your students will be prepared to discuss numerous constellations seen in the night sky! Of course, we cannot get to these celestial bodies without incredible rockets; students will have the opportunity to briefly explore different types of rockets and fuel humans have utilized in the past to research these bodies. Students will be able to become astronomers, learning about the planets around us and the mysteries in outer space beyond!
