In, Neuroscience: The Science of the Brain, students will learn about the structure and function of the brain as well as have fun solving case studies, and have fun understanding the science behind our everyday thoughts. Students will first learn about the structure of the neuron and how neurons interact with each other. Then, Echelon Catapult instructors will teach students how the nervous system is divided into various systems that explain behavior such as why we dream as well as why we feel “hyped up” when competing in a sport. On the second day of the course, students will learn about the structure and function of the brain and then try to solve several intriguing case studies from real patients!
All meetings will take place on Zoom.
